Her lost love

Knowing that her man, a pilot was engaged to someone else, she couldn’t resist crying. She was in anger. She was in pain. She lost faith in others as well as herself. She sobbed bitterly sitting in the dark corner of the kitchen. She regretted for the mistake she had done by loving him unconditionally. A number of thoughts were lingering and her mind was in fluctuation. A chaos of emotions roared in her. She wondered how she could be cheated and there was no justice.

Her father was worried about his only daughter and claimed she would never think of him again who wasn’t loyal to her and that she would move on with life. He was old and in a trembling voice, he asked her to untie the knot, the knot of his memories.  He strengthened her with courage and was ready to stand by her.

Her fumbling attempt to forget him constantly went in vain and she gave up trying. Her shaft of hope and dreams were now dismissed. She heaved a sigh. Finally she dropped the idea of falling in love again and decided to remain as a princess only to her father!

The ghost in her

A deep dark hole
Carved through her granite soul
Fear of fears binding her, Fie!
An illusion which none can see

None knows what flows through her veins
A smile full of vain
An empty soul howling through darkness
Stands guard over her emptiness

Ghost of unknown fear haunting her flesh
Circles & whirls around, leaving her in mesh
Tries hard to get back her lost life and name
But the daemon is no lame

Her heavy heart always said "Why me?"
Ghost inside her always knocked
Only 'cause she had it hard locked
And had thrown away the key!

Memories!

As my feet walked on the green grass
Whisper of the cold breeze caressed my skin
My mind, rattled
Rattled with those scattered memories
I was bent, for they haunted me again

Tears, smiles, joys, laughs
I gazed through them,
Some sweet, some bitter, some plain
Some bought me smiles when in pain
Some laughs, when I wasn't able to smile
No, they weren't worldly, nor secular
I gathered them all & kept it safe
For they were elegant, splendor!

Memories! a sacred place to visit,
Rather than stay
People, friends everything has a change
Memories? Neither fade nor die!

Today's harvest becomes tomorrow's memory,
I thought
A seed or a weed?
My choice, I said to myself
Walking down the lane!
