Mountains

Strong and sturdy, standing so tall
Rising to towering height
Sparrows and owls giving chirping call
Seething their songs with might

Heavy rain strikes its skin
Skinning away its ebony soil
Kissed by the veins of icy water
Kisses the drifting clouds above

Sitting on the mountains, by warm hearth
Your feet on fern, you feel the earth around
Crowns covered with pristine snow
And blue rivers running below

The scent of cold wind brushes your skin
This earth is now your kin
You want to stay there all, till the end
Playing to the symphony the nature sends
